My debts have grown to a fairly unmanageable level and I really can’t see myself being able to repay them.

I’ve spoken to a few people about what I could do to help my situation, and they have advised me to look into an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement). This is basically a debt solution designed to get me out of debt in five years.

I’m seriously considering entering an IVA from the IVA Forum – just so I can become debt free. I will know exactly when I’m due to be debt free, and I’ll make just one payment each month that I know I can afford. From what I’ve seen, it’s no ‘easy option’, but it looks like it’s a better idea than any of the alternatives.
